Getting all of the chocolate out of the way first is probably the best way to go about this level. Otherwise your stuck with encroaching chocolate pieces that will probably stress you out and cause you to make worse moves.

I think you should always plan for special candies. Especially when the levels start getting REALLLY difficult, you are going to need all the crushing ability you can get. I typically always shoot for the striped candies simply because they are easy to make. Though if you can get better, than why not go for it?

147 is one of the harder jelly levels. My only recommendation is to clear the jellies by crushing at least two of them each move. If a move isn’t going to clear any jellies than don’t waste a move on it.

161 is definitely a tough level. Having beaten it a few times, I recommend searching for matches on the sides and at the bottoms first. This will work better than looking from the top downwards. Remove the licorice locked candy to get more candies down. Also, there are 3 chocolate fountains with double jelly. Make matches by the fountains and keep track of which chocolate pieces have jelly.

Use a wrapped candy to take out the hardest pieces of jelly on the far left and near the chocolate fountains.

I’ve heard of ways to hack the game to have unlimited lives, etc. Don’t know how legitimate it is though

Wrapped candies are really easy to make whenever I see a huge group of the same type of candies. It really isn’t that difficult to make an L if you focus on it.

On the other hand, I really like the color bombs because of the animation when you crush them. It just looks cool

The candies fall from the bottom left box, to the right box, to the top left box. It might take a while to get used to, but once you figure it out it makes sense. Also, columns fall separately from each other

I would like to play it in a more thought out fashion, but the suggested moves always throw me off because I feel obligated to follow them. I think the suggestions come much too fast to really play it like chess

There should be a feature to turn off these hints…or at least have them turn off once you reach a certain level. If you’ve made it so far, King should know that you don’t need help making simple three candy matches anymore

If only every level had a set board…I think everybody would agree that this game would be much easier. Its nice that for once the tips can be more specific for a level like this, and less about skill/luck to beat it

147 was really tough. My only advice for beating it is try to make every move pop at least two jellys. Three or more is ideal, but try not to waste moves if they only pop one jelly or no jellys at all. If you can’t make any moves that pop jellys, then I guess you have to go for it.
