Psychologists, analysts, professionals, and people have all been wondering ‘why is Candy Crush so popular? What makes it so addictive?’ And while everyone has different/varying theories of why people are so addicted. But it’s not just us “normal people” that are addicted to Candy Crush! Celebs are not immune to the obsession that is Candy Crush!

Maroon 5 vocalist and judge on The Voice, Adam Levine, is highly addicted to Candy Crush. Always begging for more lives to keep on playing!

Jesse Tyler Ferguson – Star of the hit show Modern Family, tweeted what he was doing while he was getting ready for the Emmys. And surprise! It was playing Candy Crush!


Pete Wentz is no stranger to tweeting about his obsession and difficulty with beating levels in Candy Crush. At one point, Wentz was stuck on a level of Candy Crush for a week, and hoped that by updating his phone–he would be able to beat the level. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way, as we all know to well!


When Danica Patrick isn’t busy racing high-speed cars, she’s busy playing Candy Crush. She even tweeted back in 2013 that “After waiting 1800 odd minutes…Candy crush, I am back!”
