• The goal of level 37 is, within the span of 30 turns, gain a score of 60,000 points and clean out 23 double-layered jelly squares. You’ll have ten meringue squares to deal with, but they’re nothing compared to the licorice Xs that form a barrier down the center column of the level. There’s also a pair of Xs in the bottom left and right corners.


• First you need to open up the board by breaking the licorice locked candies out of their sugary prison. Unfortunately, breaking the X will not affect the jelly inside, so each of these squares must be hit three times before they’re clean.
• The most efficient way to deal with licorice is to detonate a vertically striped candy in the central column of Xs and jelly. This is difficult, but can completely open up the game for you. Barring that, bombs are incredibly effective when detonated in the center and can remove jelly as well with their secondary blasts.
• Striped candy combos will clear the most jelly in this level. Striped & wrapped candies are potent, but a striped candy with a color bomb can destroy everything on the board at once. Keep an eye out for five-in-a-row opportunities.
