• Level 44 is an ingredient challenge with only three ingredients, but some substantial obstacles. Although you have 50 moves, you’ll need them all to get rid of 9 licorice Xs that are right above small gaps in the level.


• The biggest problem in this level is the licorice x blockers that stops your ingredients from falling to the bottom of the board. Take out the blockers first and then pave the way for your ingredient by clearing out the candies. This is fairly difficult since they are boxed in by gaps, meaning you won’t be able to remove the cages from underneath–but that doesn’t mean a cascade won’t do the job for you. Make what moves you can on the bottom, but be on the lookout for match up top that can start removing licorice.
• Activating special candy combinations will also be helpful in this level since they net larger points and take out a larger cluster of area for your ingredients to drop. Vertical candies will generally be easier to form than horizontal ones, and are more useful. Remember, though, the candy underneath an X will not be removed along with the licorice.
