• The goal in level 298 is to clear 23 jelly squares while scoring 25,000 points in 45 moves. The challenge in this level is that the board is oddly shaped and the jellies are located on the edges of the board instead of the middle. As a result, it’s much harder to clear them out, especially the ones in the corner of the board. Special candies are your friend here, so it’s important to be on the lookout for special candy opportunities.


• Start by looking at the edges to see if you can make any matches within the jelly. If not or you can’t make a special candy within the first one or two moves, restart the level. Any other way of starting off the level will only bring you grief later on.
• By far the best way to conquer this level is to combine the color bomb they give you with a striped combination. You will get a new striped candy for each color candy that corresponds to the color striped candy you combine with the color bomb. Try to coordinate this move so that there are lots of color candies on the board before you make the combination. You want this move to have as much of an impact as possible.
