Candy Crush Saga Toffee Tornado
In Candy Crush Saga, there are a multitude of blockers and obstacles, and one of the most intriguing might be the Candy Crush Saga toffee tornado. They first appear in Candy Crush Level 411, and are frustrating in every level they appear in after.
What is a Candy Crush Saga toffee tornado and what do they do?
They are tornadoes that whirl around the board, occupying a random square on the board. After every move, they meander to another spot and it destroys that square as well. These tornadoes leave the squares they occupy cracked and battered, and the square remains this way for another whole turn after the tornado has left. This means that when a toffee tornado finds its square to occupy, that spot will be out of commission for 2 moves. After that time frame, the square will heal and candies can fall back into place.
The toffee tornadoes aren’t all bad because they can help and hurt you in the same exact way. Yes, they can take out blockers as well as candies. The tornadoes can completely eliminate a blocker, or take off a layer from them. It is noteworthy that the tornadoes can’t clear or take off layers of jelly squares, so they are more of a hindrance than anything.
Is it possible to clear a Candy Crush Saga toffee tornado?
Unfortunately, if you stumble upon a level with a toffee tornado, you are stuck with that whirling dervish for the level’s entirety. They also are unaffected by the Lollipop Hammer and Sweet Teeth boosters. In addition, these tornadoes seem to avoid the cake and coconut wheels. Not even color bombs can affect these whirlwinds.
