• Welcome to level 50, where your new objective is to clear 33 squares of double-layered jelly and get 33,000 points in 50 moves. This time, your obstacles are a cluster of licorice Xs that cover jelly squares surrounding four central gaps in the level.


• Make adjacent matches to clear the licorice Xs, starting from the bottom. There’s not much danger of leaving squares blank as long as you continue to remove licorice from the sides as well.
• Obviously, special candies are very important for success here. Use striped candies to cut out the central jellies and licorice; remember, licorice protects jelly, so each caged square will need to be hit three times total.
• Work inwards to create more moves and have a greater chance of using a striped candy to wipe out a column. Bombs can be very useful when making this strategy work, as their primary and secondary blasts can effectively open up an entire side of the board for further combos.
• Try and make a color bomb! Even on its own, it is very useful in this level. You can use it right away to clear away licorice, or save it for later to combine it with a striped candy and round up all the remaining jelly.
