King comes in second with their hit game ‘Candy Crush Saga’. Candy Crush Saga has been one of the most popular games on the charts ever since it was released. Unfortunately for King, the mobile gaming market is constantly changing, meaning they will need to create another game that will be able to beat out their competitors around the world. The Japanese company, GungHo Online publishes the game ‘Puzzle & Dragons’ which falls into third place on the top game apps by monthly revenue chart.

Although these three games and publishers rank in the top spots for monthly revenue, the top game apps by monthly download shows something different. The top three games are as follows: ‘Smash Hit’ by Mediocre, ‘Farm Heroes Saga’ by King, and ‘Flappy Wings’ by Green Chili. When comparing these two charts you are able to see how the mobile gaming market is constantly changing.

Many mobile game publishers strive to create games that will have longevity on the charts. King has done a great job of this with their hit game ‘Candy Crush Saga’, which has been on the charts since being released last year. When you compare these charts you can see how volatile the mobile gaming market is and how things are constantly changing.
