• The objective of this level is to clear all 17 jellies and score at least 20,000 points in 20 moves. You don’t have nearly as much jelly to remove as you did in level 7, but you have 30 fewer moves too, and the jelly’s divided into three separate squares in the top right, top left, and bottom middle of the board. You may have to divide your attention to find success in this level (which is shaped like a heart, like the jelly was in the last level).


• Start by making moves on the bottom of the board, since this will create a cascading effect and make more matches in other parts of the grid to potentially clear more jelly with one move. These moves will also earn you progressively more points the longer the cascade lasts. Since you only have 20 moves to get 20,000 points, you need to make every turn count for 1,000 points on average. (Of course, if you remove the jelly quick enough, you can score tons of points with your leftover turns during Sugar Crush.)
• Plan your moves ahead, keeping in mind that you have a limited number of them. Forming special candies will help you make the most of each move and overcome the unique shape of this level. A well-placed wrapped bomb can wipe out an entire square of jelly at once. Horizontally striped candies can destroy jelly on both sides of the board simultaneously, since their blast radius will extend across the small gap in the upper middle of the board. Use them to remove jelly you can’t remove with conventional matches.
