• Here in level 48, you must score at least 70,000 points and clear all 21 squares of jelly. To make it more difficult, most of the jelly is also trapped in licorice x’s and has two layers. You must clear all the x’s to beat the level! You have 30 moves to accomplish this in, so the pressure is on.


• An even bigger obstacle than the licorice is how the level is divided: four quadrants make setting up special candies in the center very difficult. But this doesn’t mean you can’t use the bottom to create cascading combos when you’re stuck.
• Make sure all your moves have some impact on the center–whether it’s getting rid of licorice, lining up striped candies, or making matches that will juggle the candies above to put you in a better position. Lots of special candies will help you clear and earn points!
• While horizontal candies are nearly useless given how hard they are to use here, vertical candies can be useful whether you form them on the top or the bottom. Bombs are tremendously powerful, whether you use them above the center to remove jelly or below it to create cascades.
